Bohemian Fall Wedding / Johanna & Tommy

One of the coolest moments of our 2018 wedding season was having our paths cross between 2 past and present #BBbridetribe couples! In 2017, We photographed a wedding for our couple Marissa & Nelson in Lake Tahoe. We were lucky enough to meet our future bride Johanna because of their special day! We found ourselves a year later photographing Johanna and Tommy’s Wedding day and of course, running into our previous bride and groom (guests at Johanna & Tommy’s wedding) Marissa and Nelson! Did I lose you yet?!

In other words, seeing our past #BBbridetribe couples at  weddings is THE BEST THING EVER!

When I think of Johanna & Tommy’s Wedding day, the first word that comes to mind is FAMILY. Johanna and Tommy’s day was about two families becoming one. It was about their incredible children witnessing their parent’s beautiful marriage. They were surrounded by their closest friends and one of the most fun loving families We have ever met!! Brandon and I don’t have children yet, but as We witnessed Johanna and Tommy dance, laugh and celebrate with their families and children on their wedding day, We 100% understood how special it was for them to have their children with them on their wedding day.

Johanna made all our bohemian dreams come true with her wedding details! In place of bouquets, She decided to use dream catchers for all her bridesmaids to hold!!  It was sooo original and beautiful! For instance, she even had a dream catcher in her hair! All of her details and pops of purple made for one of the most beautiful weddings of the year!

Johanna and Tommy, Thank you for welcoming us into your family and trusting us to capture your incredibly special day! The feeling of love and welcoming that We experienced being around You and your family is a testament to the inspiring people that you are. You are adored and loved by so many and We are happy to call ourselves two of those people. Above all, you are both beautiful people, inside and out. We are so lucky to have spent your day with you!
